Generic Label
Generic label will appear sometimes as the shipping method within an order. This typically means one of two things:
1. The most common time this arises is if you create a new shipping method within your store and you don't have it mapped to an option. Instead of the system guessing what to use, it will change it to Generic Label. ANYTIME you add/modify the name of the shipping methods within your marketplace it is extremely important to let us know so we can assist with mapping it properly right away, or you can send us the exact name of the method you're be using (i.e. Express Shipping (2 Business Days) along with the method you'd like that to go (i.e. FedEx 2-Day, Cheapest Method in 2-Days, Priority Mail, etc.) and then we can setup the mapping before you push it live.
2. The order is a pick-up or LTL order so the generic label just prints out the order information but it is not tied to a carrier. It's the systems way of knowing that an order has been fulfilled. For LTL shipments, you may also want to search for orders that have LTL Ready as the tag as this will let you know that there are probably weights and dims in the order notes in the event you're creating a BOL.
