PO Receiving Requirements

In helping to reduce the time and provide maximum efficiency during the receiving/in-bounding of your PO we have outlined a guideline for you. Instructions below for how items need to be sent to us, as that will help both you and ShipLab to receive in your product faster.

Appointments are Required

For standard common carrier drop offs (i.e. FedEx, UPS, USPS), you do not need to book an appointment. However, all personal drop offs and LTL/FCL drop-offs must have an appointment. Please book your appointment here:

Master Cartons / Mixed Cartons

1. We ask to have only products that are part of a PO be in the same box.

2. If a box has multiple SKUs then they need to be properly separated within the box itself.

3. When shipping multiple SKUs in one carton, having them placed in individual cartons within the master carton to separate the SKUs is preferred -- ensuring that labeling is listed on the inner carton.

4.Labeling of cartons should be listed on one side. Ask your suppliers to label the outside of each carton according to the product contents inside. The labeling should include

Company Name PO # SKU / Description Barcode/UPC of Product Inside QTY Carton # (i.e. 1 of 4) WT/BOX DIMS

Pallet Sizes

48" x 40" x 60"

*Note: ShipLab can accommodate higher pallets but space is limited. Please contact support@shiplabsd.com prior to deliver.

Product Labeling/Bar-coding

A RECOMMENDED MAXIMUM TRUNCATION* (1.2"w x .5"h label) with a clear zone of 1.375".

Please let ShipLab know if you need bar-codes created for specific SKUs. The label should have the following information on it:

1. Scannable bar-code of either a UPC code, SKU, or an alternate code. If you're using an alternate code or UPC ShipLab must know about it so we can update our inventory system with that code to match the SKU.

2. Plain Text name of the SKU (i.e. LC1324556)

Shipping

1. Ask your suppliers to ship the product in a triple walled corrugated box. These boxes withstand the long trip and constant handling.

2. Ask your suppliers to label the outside of each carton according to the product contents inside. The labeling should include

Company Name PO # SKU / Description Bar-code/UPC QTY Carton # WT/BOX DIMS

This helps in checking in/receiving your product and conducting thorough inventory counts when needed.
