Updating Shipping Methods on Orders
Once an order comes into ShipHero from your marketplace (i.e. Shopify) then it will have a shipping method assigned to either based on:
1. Shipping method mapping (i.e. Standard Shipping = USPS First Class Mail)
or
2. An automation rule (i.e. If the order is over 1lb then ship via DHL eComm SmartParcel Plus Expedited)
Once those shipping methods are set, they can still be changed so long as the order has not been shipped. For example, if you need to change an order to get the item there faster.
Here is how to do that:
1. Login to shiplabsd.com/login
2. Go to Orders > Manage Orders and search for the order number (be sure to check the date range in your filter)
3. Scroll down on the right side to "Shipment Information" and click the pencil
4. This will open a modal that allows you to select the new method. Be sure to select the appropriate service, especially if it is an international order. Also, please note that FedEx cannot ship to PO Boxes, so those orders must be shipped either USPS (Shippo) or DHL eCommerce.
5. After you are happy with the selections click "Update". As an extra safety precaution, we ask that you put in a brief note in the "Note for Warehouse Packer" section to just ensure the team knows that this new method is ok as it will most likely be different than the typical automations.
