Accessing Your Barcodes
Barcodes are one of the most important parts of managing inventory. The accuracy of them is extremely important, and errors with them can result in lost inventory, mis-shipments, etc. If you're using Shopify and create your products within Shopify you can add the barcode number directly within Shopify when you initially create the product. However, if you do not enter a barcode value in, then ShipHero will automatically create one for you.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE BARCODES THAT ARE LISTED WITHIN SHIPHERO. IF A PRODUCT NEEDS TO HAVE A BARCODE UPDATED, PLEASE CONTACT SUPPORT@SHIPLABSD.COM SO WE CAN ENSURE IT IS DONE PROPERLY.
To access barcodes within ShipHero you can do the following:
1. To view a lot of barcode numbers at once, and easily export them, yuo can go to Inventory > Manage Products page click on "Column Visibility" and add the "Barcode" column.
2. Alternatively, if you're wanting to just view the barcode for a specific product, you can view that on the product detail page. By going to Inventory > Manage Products > Then searching for the product (i.e. by title, sku, etc.) and then click into the product detail page by clicking the name of the product in blue text. Once to the product detail page you'll see all the product information list on the left hand side of the page, and barcode is one of them.
3. If you want to view the image of the barcode itself, you can scroll down on the product detail page for a given SKU and on the bottom left under the "Actions" section there is a button that says "View Barcode Label". If you click this button you'll get an image of the barcode itself.
4. Once you view the barcode then you can download that image file (i.e. PNG file) and print the barcode using your printer, or send the image to your manufacturer.
