ShipHero - Creating Master Case Barcodes

Product case barcodes (aka Master Case Barcodes) are used to help expedite the inbound process by allowing us to scale one barcode to inbound multiples of a specific product. For example, product ABC may come in a case with 20 units of that SKU in the same box. By putting a product case barcode on the outside of the box we can simply scan the one barcode and the system will recognize that there are 20 units of ABC inside and count the inventory correctly. It is very important that the product case barcode is unique and not used for any other skus or different quantities.

Here are instructions for creating product case barcodes:

1. Click Add a product case
2. Specify the quantity (units) of that SKU in the case (i.e. If we use our example from above, this would be 20, since there are 20 units of SKU ABC in the box)
3. Specify the barcode for that case and click "Add"
