Fulfill Orders from Different Locations / Warehouses

Sometimes you may want to ship some orders from one location and have us ship others. For example, if you want to fulfill some orders from your headquarters and have ShipLab fulfill others. There are a few options here:

1. We can setup an automation within ShipHero so that only orders that meet a certain criteria are set for us to fulfill. For example, we only fulfill orders of 9 units or more, or we only fulfill orders in California, etc. There are a variety of triggers here we can use.

2. The other option we could do is put ALL orders on operator hold with ShipHero and then you manually release the ones that you’d like us to fulfill. This is obviously a bit less automated, but then you have full control over what ships and what doesn’t.
3. If there are certain SKUs that you will be the one shipping then that’s very easy and those can be marked as drop shipped Skus. This article goes into more depth on that: https://shiplab.helpscoutdocs.com/article/51-marking-a-sku-as-dropship
Keep in mind that you can’t ship items from your end in ShipHero, so you would still need to get your own system to do this. You can print labels from Shopify or get something like ShipStation to do this. Things can just get a bit more complicated when you have multiple parties and softwares involved as you want to make sure that all orders are getting shipped, and at the same time, they aren’t getting double shipped. So long as whatever software you pick marks the items as shipped within Shopify then that status will automatically change within Shiphero so we know it has been shipped.
